Our story

Why is our beer different? Because we make it differently.

Czech lagers, bold specials and hand-drawn characters that give every beer its own face.

  1. Brewed in the Plzeň region

    Water from the Plzeň region

From the home of the pilsner. We brew here, in a brewery that has stood since 1567.

  2. 2,000 litres

    One batch is 2,000 litres

We brew about twice a week, so the beer never sits around in a warehouse.

  3. Live beer

    Unfiltered and unpasteurised

The yeast stays in the beer. That is why it tastes fuller — and why it goes straight into your fridge at home.

And Leshy brought back bronze from the International Beer Challenge in London — the jury tastes blind, without the label.

A brewery from 1567, left to decay for seventy years

In 1948 the state took it over, in 1952 it closed it. The brewhouse was dismantled and carted off to a large brewery in Plzeň. We bought the brewery in 2018 and have been putting it back together since 2022. There will be a brewery here, and a medieval park.

We sold 104,014.88 litres of beer in the last year. In 1875 this place brewed 17,000 hectolitres a year.

Still have questions? Here are the answers

Delivery via Zásilkovna anywhere in the Czech Republic and Slovakia typically takes 2–3 working days.

Yes. Just add your message and the recipient's address in the order note and we'll take care of the rest.

We're confident you will be. But if any problem does come up, drop us a line at [email protected]. We'll always try to find a solution you're happy with.

The contents of the boxes may shift slightly with the season and availability. But we always aim to keep the character and the value of the box you chose.

Yes. Alcoholic drinks are sold to people over 18 only.

We pack every box carefully so the beer arrives safely right to your door.

We brew at our own place in Zbiroh and alongside a handful of small Czech craft breweries who have been in this with us for the long haul. The recipe, the ingredients and the quality control always stay in our hands — wherever the beer is brewed.

We ship with Zásilkovna across the Czech Republic and Slovakia — to a pickup point, to a Z-BOX or all the way to your door. Kegs we deliver ourselves around the Zbiroh region, or you can collect them in Plískov. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia we pay the shipping — the cart shows zero.

We brew in small batches and we take our time — the lagers mature for as long as they need to. We don't filter or pasteurise the beer, so everything that belongs in it stays in your glass. No mass production, no shortcuts. And then there are the hand-drawn characters that make the beer stick with you.
